Why don't any other channels than MOVIE NETWORK licence Hellraiser?
When Movie Network Channels first signed with foxtel back in 2002, they were airing Hellraiser and Hellbound: Hellraiser II originally on Movie Extra, but eventually moved it to Movie Greats. About a year later, both movies stopped airing and Movie Network didn’t re-licence Hellraiser until September 2006, and it was aired on Movie Greats at 10.30pm in October, as part of night frights. A year later, Movie Network’s licence to it ran out and it hasn’t been aired since. I have contacted other channels and asked them to air it, but none of them will. I can understand that Hellraiser contains graphic content and is unsuitable for young people, therefore Movie Network prefer not to licence this, but that can’t be the reason, because I’ve seen worse movies on Movie Network’s channels such as Pulp Fiction which is currently still in licence. So what I want to know, is why is it always up to Movie Network to air it, when there are other channels that could air it. Can someone please tell me.
they are cleaning up the images on tv for the teenagers and younger. it not just movies it also in video games as well m rated titles are turning into everyone titles. like how r on tv turns in to of it is also for everyone and that just juice on there face. i wouldn’t be surpised if i was right on this one i noticed it with final destion 2 and 3
